The Producer’s Pavilion features a variety of interactive exhibitions aimed at telling the story of our food from paddock to plate. The pavilion connects with both the end consumer & producer.
The Producers Kitchen stage consists of celebrity & locals cookery demonstrations whilst Retail Sites make up the majority of the Pavilion, with locally grown produce for sale such as wine, honey, cheese, oils, spices and herbs.
Our Celebrity Chef for the Producer’s Kitchen this year was Paul Mercurio, who performed some spectacular cooking demonstrations on Sunday & Monday.
Paul shares his love and passion steering his career and journey into all things ‘food’. He has hosted two series of the food and travel series, The Food Trail and four series of his own food and travel show Mercurio’s Menu. It’s his love of food, cooking and brewing coupled with the opportunities he has had to travel the world sampling all the culinary wonders of the various places and cultures he has been that inspires him to continue to tell his story through the food that he creates.
The Producers Kitchen runs a cooking demonstration program for all 3 days, featuring Celebrity and Local Chefs.
The program schedule is available on our website in the weeks leading up to Sheepvention.
